Ten Easiest College Schedules
With the 2010 College Football schedule pretty much nailed down, we've taken our first dive into analyzing the strengths of schedule that each team will face in 2010. We looked at the rushing yardage allowed, passing yardage allowed and points allowed by every opponent on the board and came up with the ten easiest college fantasy football schedules for 2010. You won't find a single BCS team on this list, of course. For fantasy purposes, we are only looking at the opposing defenses when determining the strength of schedule.

The ten easiest college fantasy football schedules for all FBS teams:

UTEP - The Miners have the honor of having the easiest schedule in all of FBS football. Their opponents will yield 24% more points than the average FBS schedule.

Mid-Tenn - The Blue Raiders are proudly repping the Sun Belt conference with the second easiest schedule for 2010. Their opponents give up 18% more rushing yards than the average FBS schedule.

Tulsa - Back to Conference USA, where the Golden Hurricane opponents will give up 12% more passing yards, 15% more rushing yards and 18% more points.

New Mexico State - The WAC is not going to lose its reputation for offensive football anytime soon. NMSU's opponents will give up 19% more points than the average schedule.

Louisiana Monroe - The Warhawks schedule is 17% easier against the run than the average schedule.

Arkansas State - The Red Wolves' opposition is yielding 17% more points than the average schedule.

Louisiana Tech - 17% easier against the run.

Central Florida - 15% easier against the pass.

Boise State - 18% easier against the run.

Nevada - 20% easier against the run.

The five easiest college fantasy football schedules for BCS teams:

Nebraska - The schedule is 10% easier than the average schedule against the pass and will yield 9% more points.

Texas Tech - 5% easier against the pass

Arizona State - 9% easier against the pass

Oregon - 6% easier against the pass

Purdue - 6% easier against the pass

In the next article we'll take a look at the toughest college fantasy football schedules for 2010. Then we'll get a little bit more in-depth, by comparing each team's 2010 strength of schedule with its 2009 strength of schedule
